I was married on Valentines day
To a woman i though i would spend my life with
Three years later, she left my world
it crumbled to dust, like so much does
I loved her then, I love her still
A piece of me always will
But that is gone, buried in my past
fodder for the wraiths
Time has set me straight
Has made me whole to the core
To do what i must in this world
With me, alone, I am free
But never full
